Improve Your Memory By Moving Your Eyes

EyesA recent study at the Manchester Metropolitan University in England has found that you can improve your memory by moving your eyes just a little bit. The research suggests that memory improves if you just take 30 seconds to move your eyes to the right and left. (It also keeps you stay awake, or at least it did for me!)

How was the study performed? One hundred and two students were asked to recall words that were repeated to them during the experiment. Respondents who moved their eyes were able to recall more of the words than those who didn’t.

Interesting finding for sure. If you need help memorizing, make sure that you move your eyes horizontally, not vertically.

Next time you study, try the eye trick and let us know in the comments if it helped you.
